Mr. Frankel was born, grew up and educated in New York City. After attending The Fieldston School, Mr. Frankel graduated from New York University and then continued on to New York Law School, where he was a recipient of the prestigious Professor Ivan Soubbotitch Award for Excellence in Poverty Law and Civil Rights. Thereafter, he worked as a prosecutor in New York City until 1992, when he embarked on a career in private practice, with a focus on defense litigation. Mr. Frankel has spent the past 25 years as a member of Cohen, Frankel & Ruggiero, LLP, a New York based defense litigation firm located in Manhattan's financial district.
